Yankees send Earth back in time




Earth, 1999 - In a stunning display of his power, George Steinbrenner has brought the earth back in time from the year 2007.

Seen below flying around the planet to induce time travel, Steinbrenner intends to build another Yankee championship no matter the cost to his bottom line, or the structural integrity of the universe.



His plan unfolded slowly by keeping established players like Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada and Mariano Rivera. Sadly, Bernie Williams could not withstand the rigors of time travel and succumbed to "old age." Steinbrenner's history-altering mission continued in the off-season with former Yankee Andy Pettitte, and now with another former Yankee, Roger Clemens.

Steinbrenner vowed that the Yankees would "do anything it takes, get anyone it takes, or continue my rampage through the space/time continuum in order to guarantee another Yankee's world championship."

Experts believe that Steinbrenner's next targets include a young Reggie Jackson, a home-run hitting Babe Ruth and the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
