A quick comment about a potential college football playoff. I'd like to see one, but as long as opinion polls determine the "best" teams, there's always going to be controversy. The NCAA basketball tournament usually sidesteps this issue because it includes so many teams. The underdogs have a chance to upset the favorites. But how will fans react when their team is ranked #5 in a four-team playoff, or #9 in an eight-team playoff?
